Introduction

This ten day writing workshop at the Atlantic Center for the Arts focused on writing about lived experiences as an effort to develop teaching skills. Writing every day, we developed lesson plans, narratives, and a teaching philosophy.

My goals:

1. Gather ideas to get students motivated and enthusiastic about writing and reading.
2. Complete the narratives/essays we started in class.
3. Get work done on my novel to focus on my own motivation and enthusiasm about writing.
